Our coffee café in Surry Hills, Sydney has a unique approach for the breakfast and brunch menu, and our 20+ years living in Asia inspires it. Our familiarity and love of Asian cuisine allowed us to curate a menu that was creative and unique in its flavours but fit in with the spirit of Surry Hills. What was most important for us, though, was that the menu still held specialty coffee at its heart.
This resulted in the creation of our Asian fusion coffee café in Surry Hills, which celebrates the best of Asian cuisine blended with the essence of the trendy brunch scene in Sydney.
ABOUT our coffee
Through the unique art of tailoring the coffee’s Aroma, Acidity, Sweetness, Body and Aftertaste, we can create the best coffee for you and your taste. We achieve flavour tailoring in each brew by adjusting one or more of the following attributes: coffee grind size, total brewing time, brewing temperature, coffee to water ratio and choice of coffee origins.

We source our coffee based on quality and uniqueness. All the coffee beans are sourced and roasted by the Haven Coffee Team, we make sure all the coffee beans are on the highest level and only serve the good one.
Your coffee is handcrafted by our barista team with the utmost passion and care. Each of our baristas has been awarded a universally-recognised qualification, which ensures quality assurance and consistency.
Our breakfast and brunch cafe in Sydney is experimental and boundary-pushing. At Haven Speciality Coffee Asian fusion collides with the taste of Sydney to create a menu that is full of innovating recipes and flavours, and will be sure to delight curious taste buds.
HONG KONG STYLE EGG WAFFLE
The influence from Asian cuisine really comes alive in our Hong Kong Mixed Haven Style Egg Waffles. Our Hokkaido egg waffle dish is smothered in Japanese matcha sauce, Hokkaido red bean, coconut cream and matcha ice cream. And our Kimchi-ken waffle is topped with spicy fried chicken, miso cream cheese, black sesame and shiso.
